Based on local energy sharing, Energy Communities represent a major innovation for the renewable energy sector.
Also in the new italian PNRR, investments have been planned for interventions related to energy communities that will contribute to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions estimated at around 1.5 million tons of CO2 per year.
